The Hudsons Coffee Story brewed from a passion for coffee shared by two friends in the late 1990�s. While each travelled through North America and Europe, sampling a variety of espresso from Seattle street stalls to French bistros, they soon realized that Australians were missing out on high quality, affordable and convenient coffee down under.
The perfect opportunity existed to take on the market in Australia and the concept was simple; keep customers coming back by providing premium quality coffee, quickly and conveniently without charging an arm and a leg for the pleasure. Hudsons Coffee has grown from the flagship store on Elizabeth Street in 1998 to now operating a highly reputable national coffee store network.
In 2009 Hudsons Coffee was acquired by Emirates Leisure Retail (ELR), the global hospitality business part of the high profile Emirates Group. Emirates Leisure Retail plans to take Hudsons Coffee into a new phase of domestic growth with a focus on franchising as well as preparing the brand for international expansion in the future. Through their ongoing commitment to creating consistent, quality products, Hudsons Coffee will be brewing in more stores, in more locations, in more countries for more customers who enjoy a consistently good cup of coffee!
